The Elton John Experience
The Elton John Experience evening on Saturday 24th August 2024, held at Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Buderim was a huge sell-out success. This event raised $23,446 for our beneficiary, endED House of Hope.
The stage was set by the Matthew Flinders Ensemble who showed that our youth have class and then Greg Andrew proved that he really is a masterful entertainer, wowing the audience with his talent and faithful renditions of Elton John classics.
The beneficiary of the event was endED House of Hope and at the close of the evening endED founders Mark & Gay Forbes expressed their gratitude to Mooloolaba Rotary, Sunshine FM and the sponsors of the event for their efforts in raising the much needed funds to upgrade the House of Hope. The upgrade is needed to meet new classification requirements arising from the increasing demand from community groups using the House of Hope facilities.
It is a privilege for our club to be able to support such a worthy community organisation and assist it to deliver its much needed essential support to people suffering from eating disorders
Many thanks to our media partner Sunshine FM, our major sponsors Kimberley Kampers, MIB Insurance Brokers, Gold Leaf Constructions, I Love Turf and Innovative Planning Solutions and all the other sponsors of auction items, door and raffle prizes,
Our thanks also to the Matthew Flinders Anglican College and our various donors for their support - and of course to the patrons who attended the event - a most enjoyable evening.

endED Connections Cafe Opens 13 March 2024
In late 2023/early 2024 our enthusiastic members led by Roger Wright, and supported by our generous sponsors (see below), completed the conversion of an old garage into the "Connections Cafe.
The "Connections Cafe" was opened on 13 March 2024 and provides a quiet space for families to relax, have a warm drink and socialise with other people facing the same challenges supporting their loved ones coping with eating disorders.
This cafe is also open to other charities and not-for-profits and is proving to be a great addition to the Sunshine Coast.
